Cyndi Thomsen (Director)

Cyndi Photo by Michael Brunk / nwlens.comMy journey into the world of storytelling began in a small town in a basement library, where I and my closest friend at the time spent our Saturday mornings telling and acting out stories for the preschoolers of the time. From that experience, I began to work with Minneapolis Children’s Theater, The Guthrie Theater’s Educational Outreach Program, and my Community Theatre doing everything from running errands to eventually performing on stage as a paid actor. Fast forward 30 plus years, today, as as a director, I seek to inform, educate, and raise awareness in communities through the medium of theater. Having grown up watching the very “opinionated” Archie Bunker. I believe that while he meant well, just did not … I hope that those who come to watch Never Too Late will take a moment to think and consider how what they say and do impacts the world around them; even if it is just their neighborhood.
