We take our mission statement seriously: Redwood Theatre is committed to bringing accessible theatre to our Eastside community. In the spirit of that mission, we sometimes like to try new things to expose more of our community to truly great theatre.
First Sunday: Pay What You Can (PWYC) Matinée
We really like Thunderbolts and Dunderheads. It is topical, timely and really funny. We want you to see it, and little things like “budgets” shouldn’t keep you from enjoying a show. So, we propose a grand experiment: come to our PWYC performance on Sunday, October 11 at 2:00pm and you decide how much to pay.
You can either purchase tickets online with a credit card and select from a variety of pre-determined prices, or you can come to the box office on the day of the performance and pay whatever amount you can afford. Sweetness!
We really hope that you come and enjoy this show, because if you do, we will consider offering a PWYC performance as a regular feature for each of our productions in the future.
