Judy Schwanke (Director/Author)
Judy has been with Redwood Theatre for almost 25 years and this is a play that is very dear to her heart. She hopes that everyone enjoys this play as much as she has enjoyed bringing it to life. She is so excited about this little play: she wrote the story for her granddaughter many years ago. She is now 30 and Judy hopes that she will still be excited that it is going to be done as a play. Judy’s daughter, Susan Mansefield, did a wonderful job of adapting a simple little tale into a wonderful stage play. With larger than life insects and grumpy old bullfrogs everyone, including childlike adults can sit and enjoy an adventure into the world of everyday garden creatures. No one will ever look on the slimy slug the same after this play!
